We at Oryx Retail are great believers in the importance of community and we take pride in our involvement in a number of CSI projects. This month, our focus has been on supplying and installing hygiene equipment for several nursery schools and day cares, as well as a clean-up of Menlyn Mall Atterbury Road & Taxi Rank.

Oryx Retail celebrated Workers Day, and this was a huge success! Our staff enjoyed celebrating with a slice of cake and some cooldrink. Our lucky draw winners were each awarded with R500. The General Manager (Ms Tanya Heimann) at Tygervalley Shopping Centre sponsored another R500.
This months YA ROCKA winners nationwide are….
Our Ya Rocka this month goes to Bongiswa Nqaba, as the top performing manager in the Western Cape during Johan Visser’s Exerce visits. She managed to achieve the highest Exerce score ever for the Western Cape Region, with an impressive score of 89,56%. Well done Bongiswa

Many of our customers and communities were left devastated in the wake of the recent unrest in KwaZulu-Natal. Warehouses were looted, jobs were put at risk, and our communities’ hearts were broken.
To help one of our valued customers, Famous Brands, get back to business and rebuild, Njabulo (Site Manager at Pavilion Mall) and his team took it upon themselves to assist with the the massive cleanup of their KZN Distribution Centre.
